NBAC Endowment: Securing the Future of Maryland and American Swimming
 |
The North Baltimore Aquatic Club stands in the new twenty-first century, 41 years young, and seeking higher levels of
achievement and accomplishment as a regional leader in competitive aquatics.
NBAC trains at the Meadowbrook Aquatic & Fitness Center and Goucher College. NBAC has always attracted athletes from all
over the country, and even the world. Swimmers from Australia, Spain, Mexico, and Canada have trained with Coach Stephens
and the staff. Swimmers from Chicago, California, New York as well as Pennsylvania, the Washington suburbs, and West Virginia
have committed to vigorous training as well as travel schedules to train with NBAC. |
In its constant search for committed and talented athletes, NBAC has developed from its roots in the Towson area in Baltimore
County to draw athletes from Baltimore City, Howard, Harford, Anne Arundel, and Carroll Counties in Maryland as well as
South Central Pennsylvania. NBAC is striving to expand its time tested methods of achievement, learning and excellence to the
greater Mid-Atlantic region. As NBAC grows, we are seeking a more permanent source of income to meet rising expenditures.
The NBAC ENDOWMENT FUND is our solution to securing a future of aquatics excellence.
Chaired by Olympic Gold medalist Theresa Andrews, the Endowment Fund involves the cooperation and vision of alumni,
parents, friends and supporters of competitive swimming to expand NBAC's programs and operations in the new century. The
goals of the Endowment are clear:
To continue our top quality youth program.
To maintain the highest level of coaching for our athletes.
To provide the opportunities so our swimmers can excel in the pool and give back to the community.
