Rachael
Fishbain started coaching at age 16 for her
summer league team in Madison, Wisconsin.
From 1992-1997 she was an assistant coach
for the Badger Dolphins Swim Team (now
Badger Aquatic Club) also in Madison. In
the fall of 1997 she moved to Tempe, Arizona
where she was Co-Head Age Group Coach for
the Desert Aquatics Club. In Arizona, she
worked with technique expert Bill Boomer at
several workshops and helped prepare
swimmers to be featured in a series of
stroke technique video tapes distributed by
USA Swimming. In August of 2000, she moved
to Baltimore to become the Head Age Group
coach of the Bel Air Athletic Club Swim Team
alongside Paul Yetter. In April 2001, she
left BAAC and started coaching for NBAC.
Her age group
swimmers have, represented Wisconsin,
Arizona and Maryland at both short and long
course Zone meets, as well as Sectionals.
Her swimmers have achieved numerous USA
Swimming Top 16 reportable times including
#1 Top-16 rankings, North Baltimore Team
records, Maryland State records, Zone Meet
Champions and National Age Group records.
Rachael currently is Head Site coach at NBAC-Harford
County and works with all groups at that
site.
Rachael has a
B.S. in Elementary Education from the
University of Wisconsin.
