Rachael Fishbain

Rachael started coaching at age 16 for her summer league swim team in Madison WI. From 1992-1997 she was an assistant coach for the Badger Dolphin Swim Team (now Badger Aquatic Club) also in Madison. In the fall of 1997, she moved to Tempe AZ where she was Co-Head Age Group Coach for the Desert Aquatics Club. In AZ, she worked with technique expert Bill Boomer at several workshops and helped prepare swimmers to be featured in a series of stroke technique video tapes put out by USA Swimming.  In August 2000, she moved to Baltimore to coach the Bel Air Athetic Club Swim Team with Paul Yetter. While at BAAC, she coached the top level age group kids and had several zone qualifiers including two 10&Under Champions. She also worked with the beginning level swimmers and was the Assistant Aquatics Director for the Athletic Club. In April 2001, she left  BAAC and started coaching for NBAC. Her age group swimmers have participated in the Far Western Championship meet, represented Wisconsin and Maryland at both short and long course zone meets and achieved numerous USA Swimming Top 16 Reportable Times including one National Age Group Record. In addition to working with all the groups at NBAC@Knight Diver, she is also the Swim Lesson Director for the North Baltimore Swim School in Harford. Rachael has a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin. 

Blake Porch
Age Group Coach - Harford Site

Blake Porch swam for NBAC from '84-'89 finaling in the 400 IM at US Nationals in his senior year of high school. He received his B.A. from Northwestern University in '93. Blake works during the day for a Baltimore-based software company specializing in 3D graphics. His work has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as other NBC and Warner Brothers productions. He currently holds a Masters National Record and continues to swim competitively in distance swims nationally and internationally. This is Blake's first season coaching for NBAC.
