Bob Bowman
Bowman is a two time Olympic assistant coach and three-time USA Swimming Golden Goggle Coach of the year, four-time ASCA Coach of the year. In Olympic competition, Coach Bowman's swimmers have won 16 gold and 4 bronze medals. Bob joined the NBAC staff in 1996 and has assisted in many phases of the development. He previously served as Head Coach of California's Napa Valley Swim Team where he coached 1996 Olympian Eric Wunderlich and World University Games Champion Ian Mull. He has also been the Head Coach of the Birmingham Swim League, Senior Assistant Coach of the Las Vegas Gold Swim Team and Head Age Group Coach of the Cincinnati Pepsi Marlins. Coach Bowman is a certified ASCA Level 5 Coach. Coach Bowman pursued a collegiate coaching career at the University of Michigan, where his swimmers won six individual NCAA titles and the 2008 Big Ten Conference Championship. He was recently named Head Men's Coach for the 2009 USA World Championship Team.

In addition to his coaching duties, Bob also runs Bowman Thoroughbreds LLC, a thoroughbred racehorse racing, breeding, and sales company.
